“I need someone for the 8:00pm to 1:00am shift on Saturday. Anyone interested?”

I raised my hand only because of the fact that I knew Taikoz was preforming that night, and though I’d never heard of them I figured it was going to be a great performance.

It was an amazing show in an equally spectacular setting. Tiakoz is a Japanese drumming band from Australia. I was in disbelief of their amazing rhythm and perfect timing. The concert was held in an old quarry. The stage was set up in front of this 100 foot rock face that was brilliantly lit up.

Our job was to help Talkin’ Audio pack up the stage and lighting equipment. The performance ran until 9:00pm and it took us until 12:00am to get all the equipment packed away. It didn’t stop there though.

We had to help setup cabling for another stage at the River Festival then deconstruct/reconstruct a stage over at the racing track. I was a really random night to say the least, and our 1:00am ended up turning into 4:00am. In the end it was a lot of fun though and I also learned a bit too.

This video was made by myself and John Melvin for our final project on SDC (School of Digital Communications). The topic of the video is on something we call the ‘fear of man’.

Many times we find ourselves too concerned about what others think, to the point that we can’t even share what we believe. In the video I become a living example of what it means to step out of the ‘fear of man’.

This is something that I even stuggled with at the beginning of my time here in Australia. I could share with others many of my viewpoints, but when it came to sharing my faith in Jesus I froze up. Much of that has changed now.

I guess once we get over ourselves, God notices and begins to use us for greater things.

This is a short commercial that I made during my SDC (School of Digital Communications). It was made using Adobe Premiere and had to portray a character of God.

This is a project done with Adobe After Effects 5.5 during my School of Digital Communications. None of us in the class had ever used the program before. We spent three days learning then one day making.

The video is on the ‘Great Commission’ which is one of the last commands that Jesus gave His disciples.
